
Our mission is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We do this by creating training environments where people are encouraged and equipped to pursue Personal Ministry, Practical Teaching, Providential Relationships, Personal Disciplines.
Q: What is Epic Ventures? A: Epic Ventures is a community of emerging leaders - college age students who are fully devoted to following Christ and fully committed to developing their leadership abilities.
Q: What does Epic Ventures have to offer me? A: Through Epic Ventures you'll have the opportunity to pursue your education, explore career possibilities, and experience leadership opportunities in real ministry settings.
Epic Ventures is a process that could be brief or it could continue up to three years. Every student in unique. This is not a program, but a uniquely designed process meant to bring you to a place of realizing your place in the story of God and maximizing your leadership gifts. Without question, you will be challenged to the core of who you are and what you believe. As we discover together what Jesus has designed for our relationship with him.
You will be placed in significant leadership roles: first working within a team, then advancing to assist in team building, and culminating in leading and building a team of your own. As much as you will be supported by a church community, you will also be placed in the context of outreach to the un-churched. You will be encouraged to continue your education, and at the same time, develop experience in the marketplace gaining real life bi-vocational ministry experience. Your devotional life will go deep, you worship will grow strong, and real life time management will be learned.
Epic Ventures assumes you want a lot out of life. It assumes that you love being dependent on God and real with others. You must be self-motivated and must be a student of leadership and a devoted follower of Jesus.
Your first official assignment as an Epic Ventures Intern is as follows: -Read the Gospel of Luke -In one page or less, explain why you are a Christian.
